How much do sessions cost?
Sessions prices differ, depending on session length, referral pathway, and funding options available (see below or email for more information).
Session prices range from $120 (not including gap payments/rebates) to $270.

Are there funding options?
Courtney is able to provide services under the Better Access (Medicare Mental Health Care Plan) scheme. Clients receive a rebate for each eligible session after full payment is received. For example, for a 1hr session, you will be charged $170. Once paid, your medicare rebate will be processed and you will receive $85.20 back from medicare, making the out of pocket expense for the session $84.80.
Courtney is also able to provide services under:
- NDIS as a non-registered provider
- Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA)
- National Redress Scheme
- Workcover
- Selected Private Health Insurers
Is there a waitlist?
There is not a current waitlist for services, however Courtney does have limited availability at times.

Do you provide in person or telehealth sessions?
AYA Therapeutic Services is a Cairns based service. We provide primarily telehealth appointments.
If seeking in person sessions, please contact us prior to booking an appointment.
Courtney will contact you directly to discuss options.
How do we refer ourselves/someone else to you?
You can refer yourself through our contact page, email, or by booking an appointment through our client portal.
Your GP, or other services, can refer to us via email.
For referrals for children and young people, we will require a parent/carer only session prior to meeting with the child/young person.
